The Wave was launched on May 28, 2009 and like almost every Google service is only allowed in by invitation, I received my invitation directly from Google because I had entered.

But what is the Wave, according to Wikipedia:

Some of its most interesting features are the advanced systems of spelling and translation during chats, instant virtual. "
As the magazine Info:

I have not had much time to experience the Wave, but it is difficult to interact with my friends if they do not have access to Google Wave. So the bill comes with 20 invitations to be distributed.
