Convert Photo into 3D JPS 2D animated GIF for Picasa and Facebook
LG has integrated 3D Youtube in the first smartphone with 3D camera. But what about the photos, unless you, your friends and family have a way to view these photos in 3D, these are pointless in the computer or the Internet.
The Picasaweb, Flickr and Facebook has no role in 3D in your albums.
The only app for Android and I found this site that the unknown function is Phera :
In the "wiggle" it shows an animated GIF by changing the view from the right eye and left eye, so of course it is not always automatically good.
Working in Photoshop it is possible to make this transition more harmonica. But from what I have to be tested in Photoshop and the Gimp does not, although I love the Gimp.
For the GIF format supports only 256 colors, and the Gimp was very bad with the colors, the better able to optimize Photoshop.
Convert JPG to JPS
When you copy pictures 3D LG P920 (Optimus 3D) computer for this comes in JPS format. The problem is that the viewer of Windows shows up one of these images, but when you click on to see the next he's going to ignore the photos in JPG JPS.
The viewer Picasa and Photoshop also the last Disem who do not know the format, even though he is a simple JPG with a photo next to each other.
The Gimp opens correctly, but before I edit the photos to see them and classify them, either directly in Windows or Lightroom.
My solution was to make a copy of the JPS files to a new folder, enter via MS-DOS, but the old command window and then find the folder you want to just give the command:
ren *.jps *.jpg
That is to rename all jpg jps. Of course it is possible to do this manually one by one directly on windows.
Ready now the programs and Windows itself already understand what it is these files.
Convert to animated GIF with Photoshop
So I set to begin an action in Photoshop to crop the jpg now in the middle and put each half in a layer. This action can be downloaded here:
www.riesel.com.br / JPS to GIF.atn
Not always the most important point of the photo with the overlay is correct, turn on and off to see the top layer.
If you want to improve the overlay change the layer opacity to 30% and more try positioning album object that is standing out in the center of the photo in the same position that this is in the lower layer.
Now to save an animated GIF of this in "File> Save for Web & Devices" (Schift + Alt + Ctrl + S)
Change the output resolution to a width of 800px if you send them to Picasaweb 500px or if you want to post on Facebook.
And since this file is a copy of the original JPS take this opportunity to actually save it as JPG. Check which of the layers is better and save it with only one image to JPG 2D normal.
Finally publish on the Web
To Picasaweb is not possible to send these GIF files for the program Picasa, you have to mount an album and add pictures on the Web site.
Apparently the animation is not seen in all browsers.
Facebook tried to send in all forms, aa one who has worked with the application http://apps.facebook.com/animated-picture and yet it often fails. This application will only publish the photo on the Wall, the images that are in their albums are all converted by Facebook and lose the animation.
