I enjoyed the holiday last week to meet the Zugspitze , Germany's highest mountain. For who is in Munich is not the mountain far, getting the 1:30 am train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Once there you need to buy another ticket for the train and for the lifts.
| It is certainly not a cheap ride, but worth it. There are two ways up and down, but I recommend going up the chairlift from Eibsee (Altitude 1000m) directly to the summit (2962m altitude). Getting up there have a wonderful view, but getting on top of a concrete structure, with bars, very safe even for children, this structure has a small museum, a small restaurant, a coffee and a weather station. | |
| Only 348m down on the other we lift to the glacier, or glacier, which is a plateau where there is snow all year round. This glacier has a larger restaurant, very good alias, and plenty of snow for the "children" brincarem.Para took the train down from the glacier, but the following 20 minutes of tunnels, and more nearly an hour getting to Garmisch-Partenkirchen actually better as an option for descida.E not to lose the custom made many photos and even edited the footage. |
